About The Position
Line Cooks are Kitchen, or “Heart of House,” Team Members responsible for setting the pace for a great shift. They prepare and move food orders efficiently while following Chili’s recipes, cleanliness standards, and safety and sanitation procedures. The role calls for dependable, fast service, clear communication with Team Members, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
