About The Position

Hosts begin each Guest’s experience at Chili’s by providing hospitality and service. The role welcomes Guests, helps them feel special, manages the wait list, answers and directs telephone calls, and contributes to a safe and welcoming restaurant environment. Hosts also communicate Guest concerns to the Manager and assist fellow Team Members when appropriate. The position requires a friendly, caring attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring attitude, ready to greet Guests with a smile.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every Guest.
• Manage the wait list.
• Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate.
• Answer the telephone within three rings and direct calls.
• Help fellow Team Members when appropriate.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
