About The Position

Table 12 Kitchen & Bar is seeking an experienced part-time Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, consistent dishes while working as part of a strong team. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Part-time team members are not eligible for company health, dental, or 401(k) benefits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • 1–2+ years of line cook experience required in a full-service or high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and timing guidelines.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness of assigned station before, during, and after each shift.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with prep work, portioning, and labeling as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow cooks, servers, and kitchen management.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation for every dish served.
  • Support opening and closing kitchen duties, including restocking and cleaning equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
