About The Position
Line Cooks at Chili's are Heart of House Team Members responsible for setting the pace for a great shift and providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food by following recipe procedures, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and help ensure food orders flow continuously from the kitchen. The role is suited to someone who works well with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
