About The Position

Join the Culinary Team at Monarch Landing! This is a full-time position with hours of operation from 11 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday and 6 AM to 3 PM on Sundays. All candidates must successfully complete a background screening prior to employment. At Monarch Landing, our passion is people. Together, we make a real difference every day. We're looking for an experienced cook who preferably has experience cooking in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction. You will prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. You are instrumental in ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion. If you have proven cooking experience and an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures we would love to meet you!
