About The Position
Line Cooks are part of Chili's Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role involves preparing food according to Chili's recipes, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, communicating ticket times, and keeping food orders moving continuously. Team members contribute to a safe, welcoming environment while working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
