About The Position
Line Cooks are members of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and keeping kitchen service moving. The role involves following recipe procedures, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, communicating ticket times, and working quickly with the team in a high-volume environment. Part-time and full-time schedules are available.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly learn and execute all recipe procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
