About The Position
Line Cooks are part of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food according to company recipes, keep the kitchen clean and safe, communicate ticket times, and keep orders moving continuously from the kitchen. The role calls for someone who works well with Team Members and can act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
