Requirements
- Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (Food Handler's Card a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift
- Operate grills, fryers, sauté stations, and other kitchen equipment safely
- Monitor food freshness, portion control, and plate presentation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service during high-volume periods
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and restocking as needed
