PM Line Cook for The Block Rogers - Weekends Required
About The Position
The Block Rogers is hiring a PM Line Cook to prepare and cook dishes in a fun, high-energy restaurant environment. The Line Cook prepares fresh ingredients, helps set up the kitchen, and works with the crew to execute cooking techniques and deliver dishes that meet quality and presentation standards. The role includes managing multiple orders during service, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace, and communicating with teammates to support a positive guest experience. The cook is also expected to be willing to learn and experiment with recipes and participate in crew development activities. Weekend work is required. Pay starts at $18 to $20 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in cooking techniques.
- Organizational and time-management skills to support timely service during busy shifts.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
- Clear communication skills.
- Attention to detail when following recipes and maintaining food safety standards.
- Positive attitude and adaptability.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Toast POS is a plus, but not required.
