About The Position

The Turning Point is an award-winning DAYTIME ONLY breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant! We have over 30 corporate locations throughout NJ, PA, DE, VA, and FL with many more on the way. We also have franchised locations that have additional opportunities for training and support roles. Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
  • Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
  • Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
  • Ability to read in English OR Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required

Responsibilities

  • Proper food handling and storage
  • Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
  • Accurately and efficiently cooking food
  • Ability to read in English OR Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
  • Learn and work in all areas of the kitchen, including the three cooking stations, food prep and dishwashing positions
