About The Position

As key members of our kitchen staff, our Line Cook's are responsible for ensuring that each item is prepared with the highest quality, care, and craftsmanship. Requirements

  • Fun, eager, positive, and committed team member
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 25 lbs several times a day
  • Demonstrate adequacy in proper handling and use of knives.
  • Weekend and holiday availability is required
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Proficiency in English

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in breakfast, brunch, lunch
  • Previous experience in a high volume restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of restaurant industry experience in the kitchen areas strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a diverse range of food items following Company recipes and specifications
  • Set up and prepare for service using various cooking equipment.
  • Safely operate cooking equipment such as grills, stoves, and fryers, demonstrating proficiency with all tools and machinery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas during and after service
  • Handle all food products properly, following health department and company standards, and ensure correct temperatures on all ingredients.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions, communicating effectively and professionally with coworkers and management
  • Follow order tickets from a POS system, preparing orders to customer dietary restrictions and/or preferences
  • Work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
  • Close the kitchen properly and complete deep clean projects as directed by the management team
  • Stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
