About The Position
TwelvEighty Bar & Grill, located on campus at McMaster University, offers a great selection of delicious food at an affordable price. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking the freshest, top quality food as per TwelvEighty specifications and per server's order. Various shifts are available, usually days, but could include evenings and/or occasional weekends. The term for this position is September 1 - April 30, with a break from approximately December 24 - January 3. This is a part-time, non-student position.
Requirements
- Skills in verbal communication required to deal with customers and others within the organizations
- Must have organizational skills
- Background in customer service oriented industry
- Ability to make decisions quickly and often without warning (i.e. customer service situations)
- Past restaurant experience preferred
- Experience in campus environment preferred
- Some computer experience is an asset
