About The Position

Cypress Street Pint & Plate is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our Back-of-House team. We are looking for dependable, hardworking kitchen professionals who can perform under pressure while maintaining quality, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork. Cypress Street Pint & Plate is located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. It is a throwback to when the drinks were always cold, the food was always hot, and the bar staff knew your name. With seventeen beers on tap, forty bottled selections, and a fully stocked selection of wine and spirits, Cypress has become a local favorite neighborhood haunt. Our lively atmosphere, late-night service, and high-volume kitchen create an exciting environment for cooks who enjoy working hard, learning new skills, and being part of a professional kitchen team.

Requirements

• Previous line cook, sauté cook, fry cook experience required
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants strongly preferred
• Late-night availability strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Work assigned stations during service while maintaining speed and accuracy
• Complete station setup and stocking before service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout each shift
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and management
• Support fellow team members during busy service periods
• Complete kitchen closing duties and station breakdowns
