About The Position

TakoSushi is now hiring for Line and Prep Cooks in Aiken, SC! This role involves skillfully cooking and preparing a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and specifications, while strictly adhering to kitchen safety and sanitation policies. The Line Cook will ensure compliance with presentation guidelines, maintain cleanliness, and accurately measure ingredients. Responsibilities also include stocking and breaking down sections, managing food rotation to minimize waste, and safely operating kitchen equipment. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of Food and Health codes.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with plate presentation guidelines and timely delivery of food orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Utilize recipe cards and measuring tools accurately for precise ingredient measurements.
  • Stock and break down sections at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Monitor and maintain proper rotation of prepped and batched food items to minimize waste.
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment and machinery.
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned or requested.
