About The Position

Line Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role prepares food by learning and executing recipe procedures, keeps the kitchen clean and safe, and helps ensure orders flow continuously from the kitchen. The position is in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and requires teamwork and communication with other Team Members.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly learn and execute all recipe procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
• Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
