The responsibility of the Grill Cook is to prepare, cook, and serve food items on the grill and to coordinate with the Executive Chef on all daily and special function menus. This role involves setting up, restocking, and breaking down the grill station, preparing daily meal items and specials, and operating various kitchen equipment. The cook will follow recipes, manage food production to minimize waste, and ensure all equipment and utensils are cleaned. Maintaining temperature logs and signage for the grill station, and being aware of safety issues are also key responsibilities. The position requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and working in temperature extremes.
