LCB Senior Living is hiring Cooks at The Residence at Glastonbury. This role provides a high level of customer service and promotes a restaurant-style dining atmosphere. The Cook will work closely with the Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs. Responsibilities include assisting with the supervision of culinary staff, preparing and executing dining enhancement programs, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, and ensuring food is received, stored, and prepared according to company standards. The role also involves estimating food and supply needs, participating in meal preparation according to recipes and menus, documenting food and equipment temperatures, preparing snacks and beverages, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, assisting with food and supply transportation and storage, and supporting special events and theme meals.
