About The Position

The Line Cook Hawks Peak is responsible for creating and delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality food in alignment with Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel’s elevated service standards. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, organized kitchen, following strict food safety protocols, and delivering consistent, high-quality dishes to guests in a timely and professional manner.

  • Strong command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of food preparation under pressure.
  • Proven working knowledge of kitchen design and the operation of grills, roast-and-hold ovens, conventional and convection ovens, fryers, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • One (1) year of QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) cooking experience or comparable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality, ensuring all orders are timely and correctly executed.
  • Maintain quality, quantity, and timeliness of food production, ensuring consistency in every dish prepared.
  • Communicate efficiently with kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper food storage, rotation, spoilage management, and the prevention of cross-contamination.
  • Ensure kitchen areas are kept clean and organized at all times, adhering to all health department regulations.
  • Follow recipes, cooking times, and temperatures to ensure the production of high-quality and consistent dishes.
  • Present plates with attention to detail, including portioning, garnishing, and adherence to recipe standards.
  • Conform to all relevant health and safety regulations, including compliance with the Washington State Department of Health standards.
  • Adhere to Snoqualmie Casino policies, including those related to safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a fully stocked and organized kitchen.
  • Take on additional tasks or duties as directed by the Sous Chef, Chef De Cuisine or Manager.
