About The Position

Blatt Beer & Table is seeking a Line Cook to join their team. This position involves preparing and cooking menu items to meet quality and presentation standards, stocking stations, ensuring food safety and sanitation, assisting with inventory, and maintaining a clean workspace. The role requires working closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food service. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required due to a comprehensive training program. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, can follow instructions, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable with physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and walking. A commitment to food safety and sanitation standards is essential.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards, ensuring consistency in every dish served.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift, ensuring all items are readily available for efficient cooking.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food.
• Assist in inventory management, including rotating stock and notifying management of any low inventory items.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all areas are sanitary and ready for use at all times.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service.
