About The Position
Line Cooks are members of Chili’s Kitchen, also called the Heart of House team. They help set the pace for each shift by providing dependable, fast service and preparing food according to Chili’s standards. The role involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and keeping food orders moving continuously. Flexible part-time or full-time schedules are available.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
