Line Cook- Full Time
About The Position
Glenwood Hot Springs Resort is hiring a full-time Line Cook for its Glenwood Springs, Colorado location. The Line Cook prepares made-to-order food for resort guests in a busy, high-volume kitchen, maintains a clean and stocked station, and works collaboratively with the kitchen team. This is a year-round position with a daytime schedule of 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. The role requires standing for a full shift and lifting up to 50 pounds. The position pays $23–$25 per hour, depending on experience, plus pooled tips. Requirements
- Experience cooking on the line in a high-volume kitchen, such as a restaurant, resort, or similar environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Solid understanding of food preparation fundamentals and food safety practices.
- Team-oriented attitude, including the ability to work well during busy service.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Cook and assemble orders during high-volume service using grill, sauté, and fry methods, following recipes and portion standards.
- Prepare ingredients, including slicing and portioning, and set up the station before service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage temperatures, safe food handling, and maintaining clean surfaces and workstations.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including station setup and breakdown, cleaning, restocking, and temperature logs.
- Communicate with and support teammates by calling out orders, covering for others, and helping where needed.
- Receive, check in, and store deliveries, and assist with inventory.
