About The Position
Line Cooks, or Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service consistent with Chili’s standards. The role involves preparing food according to company recipes, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, communicating with team members, and keeping food orders moving. Candidates should take pride in teamwork and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with team members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to team members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
