About The Position

Buck & Honey's Monona is looking for a full-time kitchen PM Line Cook to join our team! Candidates should have open availability to work PM shifts. Weekend availability is required. This role involves preparing the line for service and consistently preparing dishes in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a kitchen of similar setup.
  • Understands all aspects of the kitchen equipment.
  • Possesses skills such as chopping, prep, execution.
  • Can prepare food consistently and accepts constructive criticism when it needs to be corrected.
  • Open availability with your schedule.
  • Ability to hold oneself accountable for actions, successes, and failures.
  • Ability to be flexible in the work environment and willing to adapt to changing organizational needs.
  • Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.
  • Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
  • Stock inventory and supplies.
  • Cook menu items with the support of kitchen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Acts with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces.
