Requirements

1+ years in a Line Cook position in a similar environment
Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
Be able to lift at least 25 Pounds
English fluency.

Nice To Haves

ServSafe Certificate preferred, but not required
Spanish fluency is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and portioning of food.
Maintains and properly uses all kitchen equipment including the griddle, fryers, blenders, food processors, mixers and other kitchen equipment.
Consistently ensures that prep duties are properly prepared according to cookbook procedures, seasoned and cooked to the standards taught by the kitchen lead within designated completion times.
Follows operating procedures of all recipes, techniques, and kitchen duties as taught by the kitchen lead.
Responsible for correct inventory storage, including labeling and dating of preparations along with waste management procedures.
Responsible for maintaining an organized cooking station and exhibits at least average knife skills with speed and accuracy to maintain a professional line cook's workload.
Responsible for cleaning your station and assists with the deep cleaning schedule.
Supports the BoBo’s team whenever needed (employee call-outs, catering, etc.)
Is knowledgeable of Department of Health standards and uses them as a guide to keep kitchen spaces clean, safe and in accordance with the Board of Health requirements.
