About The Position
Shorty's Waterfront is reopening on October 1st with a new BBQ concept and is looking to build its kitchen team. They are seeking dependable, energetic individuals with a strong work ethic to join their team. The new concept will feature homemade BBQ, handcrafted cocktails, cold beer, brunch, sports, music, events, and a great atmosphere. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing hospitality group with multiple concepts and locations.
Requirements
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook.
- Knowledge of BBQ preparation.
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory and stocking of kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
