About The Position

As a Line Cook II at Suncadia Resort you will be looked to as a reliable and consistent presence in the resort kitchens. In this role, you’ll bring consistency and care to every dish, working together with the culinary team to deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests. Requirements

  • 2+ years previous food preparation experience
  • Basic Knife Skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Able to communicate well with staff and customer
  • Active Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to read and communicate through written menu requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work well with others and function well in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with executive chef or supervisor daily about operations
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining par levels
  • Maintain and stock the set-up of the line
  • Prepare food according to restaurant quality standards
  • Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operation
  • Maintain professional guest relations
  • Set up, restock, maintain , and clean food preparation line
  • Prepare food as ordered and according to Suncadia standards
  • Coordinate all orders between stations and food service personnel
  • Monitor food quality and rotation
  • Assist with other stations as directed
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area
  • Maintain resort kitchen equipment
  • Prepare food in accordance with pre-established preparation times
  • Prepare food in accordance with working menus, recipe cards, and photograph standards
  • Display understanding of sanitary food handling techniques
  • Display knowledge of safe operation of kitchen equipment
  • Display understanding of Suncadia appearance standards
  • Attend all mandatory meetings
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor, to include cross training
