About The Position

The LCT Lead is responsible for driving line performance and ensures equipment is maintained in a state of base condition across both aseptic and non-aseptic areas. This role leads daily execution by partnering closely with Supervisors and Mechanics to resolve issues, eliminate losses, and sustain performance. The LCT Lead ensures adherence to equipment standards and disciplined execution of maintenance and operating processes. In aseptic areas, this includes reinforcing strict compliance with aseptic behaviors and contamination control requirements. This role drives continuous improvement to deliver reliable, high-quality output aligned with production targets, with a focus on excellence in equipment readiness, changeovers, sublot execution, non-conformance closure, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), defect reduction, and maintenance performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or similar
  • Experience in manufacturing or operations, preferably in a regulated and/or aseptic environment
  • Strong understanding of equipment, line performance, and maintenance fundamentals
  • Experience with daily management systems and structured problem solving.
  • Ability to drive execution through others in a cross-functional environment through strong communication and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

  • Owns end-to-end line performance across safety, quality, service, and cost
  • Establishes and drives daily action plans to address losses and performance gaps
  • Ensures strong execution on key performance drivers (equipment readiness, changeovers, sublots, NC closure, OEE, defects, maintenance)
  • Validates time losses and implements countermeasures to improve throughput and reliability
  • Responds to and helps resolve major operational disruptions (equipment, materials, staffing)
  • Ensures equipment is always maintained in base condition
  • Defines, implements, and reinforces standards for cleaning, inspection, and defects (CID)
  • Drives adherence to standard work and escalates deviations
  • Partners with Mechanics to prioritize and execute maintenance activities that improve line reliability
  • Leads daily Tier 1 to review prior performance and set clear priorities for the next 24 hours
  • Aligns team on actions, assigns ownership, and tracks execution to closure
  • Communicates performance, gaps, and action plans in Tier 2 meetings
  • Partners closely with Supervisors to ensure effective shift execution and alignment
  • Works with Mechanics to diagnose issues, prioritize interventions, and improve equipment performance
  • Coordinates with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning as needed to remove constraints and protect output
  • Drives structured problem solving to eliminate recurring losses and improve line stability
  • Supports implementation and sustainment of standard processes and centerlining
  • Identifies and executes improvement opportunities to increase capacity, reduce defects, and improve efficiency
  • Shares best practices across lines and teams
  • Ensures strict adherence to GMP, quality, and contamination control standards across all areas
  • Reinforces aseptic behaviors and discipline in aseptic environments
  • Escalates any risks to product quality or compliance immediately
  • Promotes a culture of right-first-time execution and accountability
