About The Position

The Line Attendant works in a food manufacturing environment, helping produce and package food products. Duties include handling raw materials and ingredients, assembling products, checking quality, and following applicable safety and regulatory procedures. The position is full-time and offers opportunities for advancement. The listed schedule is 1st shift, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.; an additional $1.50-per-hour shift differential applies from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Ability to adapt to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure products from raw materials through finished goods meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products, discard or correct products as necessary, and record waste amounts as directed.
• Notify a supervisor about quality issues, ingredient or material problems, and equipment breakdowns.
• Perform duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, state, federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices and safety regulations.
