About The Position

The LIMS-E2 Machine Operator is responsible for the precise and efficient operation of the LIMS-E2 automated equipment, specializing in cutting, stripping, applying seals and crimping wire assemblies to specification. Primary duties include setting up the LIMS-E2 machine, loading the correct wire materials, monitoring production runs, and completing routine maintenance. Additional steps include adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance and quality output. The position will have other duties not specifically defined above that are essential for the overall success of SurePoint Electronics. Being a member of the SurePoint Team: In addition to the specific duties detailed above, you are expected to provide support and assistance in achieving the overall goals and objectives of SurePoint Ag & SurePoint Electronics through collaboration, teamwork and communication. This position will be located at SurePoint Electronics in Atwood, KS. No specific training program exists for this position. You will be expected to learn through experience and ask questions for clarification. SurePoint does emphasize employee development. Opportunities will exist to attend specialized training throughout the course of employment.

Responsibilities

Operate the LIMS-E2 machine for cutting, stripping, and crimping wire according to production work orders and engineering specifications.
Adjust machine settings to accommodate different wire gauges, lengths, and crimping requirements as needed for each job.
Perform quality checks on finished wire assemblies to verify conformity to company standards and customer requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions or jams, escalate complex issues to maintenance personnel when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of production runs, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work area around the LIMS-E2 machine.
