About The Position

As a Limited X-Ray Technologist, you will join a team focused on delivering quality patient care and clinical outcomes. You will perform radiologic and fluoroscopy examinations, monitor patients during exams, and respond to questions and needs from patients and physicians. The role also requires safeguarding patient and company information and property, and maintaining respectful, professional relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and the public.

Requirements

• A state license and/or ARRT certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• BLS certification is required.
• Exercise sound judgment and remain professional in all situations.
• Demonstrate effective, professional communication and interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Use a structured work approach, understand complex problems, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams and answer questions and concerns about exam procedures and processes.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications according to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or in patient portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respond to others’ needs.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
