About The Position

The Medical Assistant with X-Ray (LMRT/LXMO) supports Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologists, and patients through patient-care management, organization, and communication. The role performs limited-capacity x-rays and reports results to Medical Providers. The Medical Assistant with X-Ray applies professional judgment when providing healthcare services involving x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment for patients from six months of age through elderly adulthood. Work must be accurate, high quality, and timely, in support of the company’s vision and mission and its values of Collaboration, Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion, Integrity, and Accountability.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at time of hire.
• Limited X-Ray Medical Assistant License.
• State license, as applicable.
• One of the listed medical assistant certifications is required, or must be obtained within 12 months of hire: ARMA, CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants on tasks related to patient-care management, organization, and communication.
• Perform limited-capacity x-rays for patients.
• Report x-ray results to Medical Providers.
• Apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosing or treating patients from six months of age through elderly adulthood.
• Complete activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.
