About The Position

The John and Doris Norton School of Human Ecology seeks a Limited Term Adjunct Lecturer to teach PFFP 498 – Financial Planning Case Capstone Course during the Spring 2027 semester. This position involves some course development and teaching within the main campus PFFP program at The University of Arizona. The course modality will be in-person and the dates of the course will be 01/11/2027 – 05/14/2027. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Requirements

• Master’s degree in financial planning or other related discipline or, Bachelor’s degree and ten years or more of industry experience in financial planning, or other related financial services discipline with progressively increasing responsibilities and/or training of personnel or significant teaching and student-mentoring experience in traditional classroom settings at a college or university level.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in instructional design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Teach PFFP 498 – Financial Planning Case Capstone Course during the Spring 2027 semester.
• Deliver the course in-person on the main campus.
• Specific course could change to include other Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board of Standards, Inc. approved curriculum.
