About The Position
Action pact is a community action agency dedicated to improving lives and communities for over 50 years. They are currently recruiting for a Limited Services Meal Delivery Driver to work at their Senior Center in Evans. This position encompasses all aspects of food preparation in accordance with planned/approved AAA guidelines, including packaging, serving clients, ordering, receiving, and storing supplies. The role also involves completing necessary paperwork and inventory control, as well as maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen and equipment. Additionally, the driver will be responsible for packaging and delivering meals to home-delivered meal clients and operating and maintaining agency and/or state vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years driving experience
- High school diploma or GED
- One year related experience
- Maintain a private automobile with proper liability insurance and a Georgia Driver’s License.
- Provide a copy of your 7-year Motor Vehicle Report at time of interview.
Responsibilities
- Package and deliver meals to home-delivered meals clients as assigned
- Maintain agency/state vehicles in a safe, efficient manner
- Report performance or safety issues related to vehicle to county coordinator in a timely manner
- Complete reports and other program documents as assigned
- Follow all food-safety guidelines
- Provide quality customer service to external and internal customers
- Assist county coordinator in maintaining a clean, safe facility.
- Attend and participate in training as assigned.
- Maintain a private automobile with proper liability insurance and a Georgia Driver’s License.
