About The Position

Capitol Imaging Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) to join our imaging team. The LMRT will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, ensuring patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Current LMRT license in the state of [Insert State].
  • CPR certification (BLS preferred).
  • Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues and referring offices.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current ARRT/ Radiologic Technologist License

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a clinical or imaging setting preferred.
  • Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Multi-modality is a plus.
  • Opportunity to learn Mammography.
  • Fast learner with a demonstrated ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Remains courteous with customers, patients, referring physician office personnel and employees.
  • Dependable, mature, has a good work ethic, excellent attendance, maintains a professional attitude, is a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Perform limited radiographic exams as authorized by state licensure.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
  • Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Assist with patient flow and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
