About The Position

Red Oak Management Co., Inc. is seeking a full-time On-Site LIHTC Compliance and Leasing Specialist in Detroit, MI. This role involves compliance, leasing, resident support, and community outreach. The position is based in Detroit, Michigan, and while on-site, it requires regular interaction with residents, property managers, and community partners throughout the Detroit area. Travel may be necessary to meet residents in their homes or visit multiple property locations. The specialist will assist prospective residents with the LIHTC qualification process, handle leasing inquiries for affordable housing, collaborate with property managers on move-ins and move-outs, maintain property management software, and act as a compliance liaison. The work directly contributes to helping residents find and maintain quality housing.

Requirements

Understanding of LIHTC housing compliance
Fair Housing Certification
Previous experience managing affordable housing sites
Strong customer service mindset
Ability to pass a background check
