About The Position

Stones River Electric is seeking a Lighting Technician to support its growing national operations. The role focuses on installing, performing preventive maintenance on, and troubleshooting commercial and industrial lighting systems, lighting controls, and associated electrical branch circuits. Candidates should have 2–3 years of hands-on field experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs. Competitive hourly rates are based on experience.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work comfortably at heights.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field.
• Comfort using basic technology, such as an iPad.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial and industrial lighting systems and controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on lighting systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits.
• Work independently and manage workload in the field.
