About The Position

Stones River Electric is seeking an experienced Commercial Lighting & Electrical Technician to support its growing national operations. The role focuses on installing, performing preventive maintenance on, and troubleshooting commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits. Competitive hourly rates are based on experience. Travel is required.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on field experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work comfortably at heights.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field.
• Comfort using basic technology such as an iPad.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Basic electrical hand tools are required, including a meter, pliers, wire strippers, and a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits.
• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial lighting systems and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial lighting systems and associated electrical components.
• Work independently in the field and manage assigned workload.
