About The Position

We are looking for someone who can design and manage lighting systems in a large auditorium to help enhance worship services and other church events in order to elevate the name of Jesus. This role has an operational focus, serving as the primary programmer of lighting systems for events in the Worship Center and other production-heavy venues. It also includes supporting weekly mid-week events, system maintenance, and serving as the project lead for set builds, including LED wall and Resolume Arena management and operation. The developmental focus involves recruiting, training, and scheduling lighting volunteers for the Lake Forest Worship Center. Administratively, the role requires reporting and managing repairs of lighting system equipment, conducting regular check-ins with lighting team volunteers, and managing lighting rental contracts for needs outside of Lake Forest resources. Leadership and oversight are provided through caring for and overseeing staff and volunteers, training, and serving in lighting.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with high-end lighting systems.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented to produce excellence in service execution.
  • Proficient in programming a high fixture count/moving heads and utilizing advanced scene management.
  • In-depth knowledge of large format Lighting and Display Systems and related equipment.
