About The Position

This role involves performing the load-in of band and rental equipment, setting up and breaking down equipment, and making focus and lighting adjustments to meet artist or event specifications. The Lighting Engineer will operate spotlights and lighting control boards, program lighting systems, and perform maintenance and repair of lighting equipment. The position also requires assisting with production needs throughout the venue, accommodating artist/event A/V requirements, and ensuring the safe and consistent operation of lighting systems. Additionally, the role involves assisting with technical advances with artist representatives, ensuring proper care and handling of all lighting and A/V equipment, and interacting with visiting production crews to ensure successful shows. Responsibilities include distributing or creating lighting plot plans, overseeing and operating lighting systems throughout events, and ensuring special events lighting needs are scheduled and met. The Lighting Engineer will also assist the audio crew with equipment and must be familiar with MA software.

• Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show

• Oversee and operate systems pertaining to lighting throughout the entire event
• Ensure Special Events lighting needs are scheduled and met
• Assist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
