About The Position

US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions. This role is for a Lighting Services Engineer who will be responsible for various tasks related to lighting design and implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a desire to understand the underlying reasons for tasks and a proactive approach to learning.

Requirements

• Client Co-op Experience or Client Distribution/Transmission Experience
• Client Lighting Design experience
• Knowledge of NEC and/or NESC Specifications is a plus
• Displays team leader attitude when fully trained - "natural leader"
• Excel at communicating ideas to team members
• Be able to teach concepts that you learn
• Display a detail-oriented mindset
• Desire to know the "why" behind the "how to do something"
• Seek to understand tasks, not just "complete" tasks
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Good communication and networking skills
• Display attention to detail in work completion
• Must have a driver’s license
• Must have a car or truck to use
• Must be able to endure temperature extremes (Alabama summer and winter temps)
• Must be able to walk on uneven terrain
• Must be able to use basic tools - (hammer stakes in the ground)
• Must have above average computer skills (Microsoft Office, Client priority computer programs)
• 0-5 years’ experience

Nice To Haves

• Engineering Degree Desired - Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial preferred
