Lighting Control Installation Technician (High-End Resi)
About The Position
KINETIQ smart.home. is seeking a Low-Voltage Installation Technician for high-end residential projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and lighting systems, including new and retro installations. The technician will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, performing advanced troubleshooting of electrical issues, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Communication with clients, team members, Project Managers (PMs), Engineering, and other trades on site is crucial. The role also requires maintaining a clean and organized job site, documenting work, and providing weekly updates to PMs. Programming experience with systems like Lutron, C4, Savant, Crestron, or Wattstopper is required, with pay adjusted based on programming skill level.
Requirements
- Experience installing lighting control systems (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron/Wattstopper)
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- High EQ

Responsibilities

- $65k-$85k/hr + rev share (avg $5k/qtr, no cap)
