About The Position
The Operator is responsible for proper care and operation of equipment such as Bull Dozer and Front End Loader and for maintaining a safe working environment. This role is with PPM, a leading industrial mechanical, electrical, and civil construction services provider for various industries including fossil and nuclear power, pulp and paper, chemical, mining, and general manufacturing. PPM provides a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services, backed by over 40 years of experience and a strong safety record.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operating in an industrial setting is required
- Possession of a current valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
Responsibilities
- Operates heavy equipment: Wagner
- Services and performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Transports wood chips
