About The Position

Operate Forklift, Skid Steer, Cat 308, Excavator and trencher which digs holes and trenches and removes and transports earth, gravel and other such materials. Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its Core Values. Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards, while adhering to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. To work well with supervision. Operate equipment to dig trenches and holes of specified length, depth, and width and grade. Be able to work around existing underground utilities and tight areas. Use equipment to remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks. Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards. Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of mechanical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience
• General knowledge of basic hand tools
• Must be able to pass equipment test and visual observation of operating equipment
• Complete the Matrix Service Safety training, and Client/Site specific training
• Must obtain and maintain an active status within the DISA drug testing program and pass a Background
• Must maintain an active driver's license and successfully clear an MVR and driving record review
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work from elevated or uneven surfaces
• Work involves standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in Confined Spaces
• Work may include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment and/or trailers
• Work may include occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing a minimum of 35 pounds to a maximum of 100 pounds, with assistance, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools
• Requires visual ability sufficient to perform job duties
• Work normally requires eye-hand coordination
