This is a hands‑on, lab‑based role at our Princeton, NJ office—ideal for someone eager to deepen their expertise in ligand binding assays (LBAs) while supporting impactful bioanalytical work that fuels clinical trials worldwide. What You’ll Do In this role, you will support our Ligand Binding team through a wide range of scientific and operational activities, including:

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or another relevant scientific discipline.
  • Hands‑on laboratory experience with ligand binding assays (ELISA, ECL, or related platforms).
  • Understanding of bioanalytical processes and regulated laboratory environments.
  • Experience using analytical software and strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Experience working under GxP or other regulated frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a collaborative work style.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with immunoassay platforms such as MSD or similar systems (strong plus).

Responsibilities

  • Performing ligand binding assays (e.g., ELISA, ECL, RIA, cell‑based assays) in accordance with established methods, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting method development, optimization, and validation activities for LBAs used to measure biomarkers, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity.
  • Processing and analyzing biological matrices (e.g., serum, plasma) using validated assay procedures.
  • Operating key laboratory instruments and platforms such as MSD, ELISA readers, automated liquid handlers, and immunoassay systems.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving assay performance issues in collaboration with senior scientists.
  • Documenting all laboratory activities with precision to ensure data integrity, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Reviewing raw data, performing data reduction, and ensuring data accuracy using specialized software applications.
  • Contributing to the creation, review, and improvement of SOPs and technical documentation.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment, including equipment maintenance and waste handling.
  • Supporting general laboratory operations to ensure seamless daily workflow.
