About The Position

The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for various warehouse tasks including pulling orders, packing and repacking, loading and unloading merchandise, and stocking merchandise using a lift truck or tugger. This role requires adherence to lift truck procedures, maintaining excellent customer service, and responding to instructions from the Control Booth. The operator will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse area clean, assisting other departments as needed, transferring materials, maintaining assigned aisles, properly putting away merchandise, and checking daily assignments. Any other duties as directed by management may also be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass lift truck licensing test (written and physical)
• Must weigh less than 300 lbs (manufacturer requirement)
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Positive attitude when working with customers
• Knowledge of merchandise handling procedures
• Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures
