About The Position
This role involves operating a lift truck/tugger to perform various warehouse tasks including pulling orders, packing and repacking, loading and unloading merchandise, and stocking. The position requires maintaining excellent customer service, responding to instructions from the Control Booth, keeping the warehouse clean, and assisting other departments as needed. The operator will also be responsible for putting merchandise away properly, checking daily assignments, and performing other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass lift truck licensing test (written and physical)
- Must weigh less than 300 lbs (manufacturer requirement)
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Positive attitude when working with customers
- Knowledge of merchandise handling procedures
- Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures
