About The Position

Stannah is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Chichester and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You will be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults. You will manage your own work day-to-day, with support from a local supervisor when needed. The role involves carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, replacing and upgrading components, attending breakdowns, supporting call-outs, and getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
Replacing and upgrading components
Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs
Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently
Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date
