Lift Engineer
About The Position
Stannah is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Bristol and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing lifts, fault finding, and ensuring safe day-to-day operations, with support from a local team. The position is full-time and permanent, with a salary of up to £59,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience. The working hours are Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45 and Friday: 08:00 – 15:45, offering an early finish on Fridays. The role covers a patch primarily within Bristol and nearby areas, consisting of a mix of commercial, residential, and public sites, with a structured route and no random national travel.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
- Full UK driving licence
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
- Attending breakdowns and callouts
- Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
- Keeping sites safe and compliant
- Completing site logs and basic paperwork
