About The Position
This position is responsible for operating a motor-powered forklift to load, unload, and process products and materials through the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner. Team members will be retrained and certified on a forklift during orientation. Applicants may be considered for forklift operator openings on any shift, including day or night shift. This position is slated for team members currently working at this facility or complex. Team members seeking to transfer from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. Internal applicants must have completed the 90-day probationary period, and must remain in the position for six months unless promoted to a higher role. The bid will be awarded to the most senior applicant. Applicants must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting an application to provide additional information for employment consideration.
